Juliette Lewis

Juliette Lewis was born in the year 1973 and she is American singer and actress. She got to fame when she played in the role of the remake thriller of Cape Fear of Martin Scorsese. For the role, she was nominated for Golden Globe and for Academy Award for the Best Supporting Actress. She had other major roles in the movies like The Other Sister, From Dusk till Dawn, Kalifornia, The Evening Star, Strange Days, Natural Born Killers, and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. The work she had, had led to two nominations for an Emmy. Lewis had launched the career as a musician and singer and she was among the members of the leading American rock band called Juliette and the Licks, but in 2009, she started a solo career.

Juliette Lewi’s parents are Geoffrey Lewis who was an actor and Glenis Batley who was a graphic designer. She was born with eight siblings, her brothers are Lightfield, Mathew, Miles and Peter and her sisters are Emily Colombier, Dierdre Lewis, Hannah and Brandy.

In the year 1993 she acted together with Johnny Depp and Leonardo Dicaprio in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, a drama film. She was playing in Natural Born Killers of Oliver Stone as a Mallory Knox. She played as the rock singer in the film called Strange Days and she was doing her own singing on the covers of the two songs that was written by PJ Harvey. She got Emmy award nomination in how she performed in the Hysterical Blindness in the year 2003.

She was in HIM Music video called Buried Alive by Love in the year 2003. In Starsky& Hutch, she played in a role of Kitty, who is a girlfriend of Reese Feldman. She appeared in the Grand theft auto IV which is a Rockstar game and she was providing Juliette’s voice. She was the host of the fictional radio called Radio Broker and it appeared on the Licks Songs called Inside the Cage. She was on the GAP commercial and she was dancing with Daft Punk in the tune song called Digital Love.

Juliette Lewis dropped in high school and she got into trouble while driving at 15 years. Afterwards, she got arrested for being in a club at 16 years old.
