Kristine Leahy was born on October 16, 1986 in Chicago, Illinois. She was raised in her hometown along with her two younger brothers. From early childhood she was involved in sport and she was dreaming to tie her life with the main sport events. She attended Prairie Ridge School in Crystal Lake in native Illinois. After high school she studied in Boston University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. At the College time she was in the team of sports talk show for BUTV, where she was the main anchor for three years.

After these two years’ experience she got the job and became an official reporter for The World Champions - Boston Celtics. She worked for Celtics and their official site for two years more. After big career way in Boston, she finally moved to Los Angeles, California in the 2012. In LA she covered many different sports events and was a sideline reporter for Turner Sports. She also worked on CBS channel with LA sports news. Kristine was a host of CBS project "Led Off» that contributed to Dodgers team another pre-game show "think blue". She became very popular on East coast, when she was joined as a reporter for American Ninja Warrior on NBC channel. Kristine replaced Jenn Brown, who was the main reporter on this show before. She covered during the NBA playoffs and MLB playoffs. In the middle of 2013 she was becoming the first women in sport history, who call a horse race in California. Later, in the 2015 she also joined to ESPN to work along with Colin Cowherd, who is a famous radio host on that channel. At the same year she also appeared at Intel Extreme Masters Season X – San Jose along with Mark Cuban.
