Mark Cuban was born in the year 1958 in Pennsylvania in the United States. He was brought up in the suburban areas of Mount Lebanon by his father Norton Cuban and mother, Shirley, who had a Jewish background. As his father was an automobile upholsterer, Cuban could not experience a lavish lifestyle from childhood and stepped into the business at a very young age.
From his childhood days, he had a knack for basketball but due to the weak financial condition, he was unable to afford his basketball shoes. To meet the expense of the pair of shoes, he had to sell some trash bags. Cuban was unable to attend the school education and took a direct admission at the University of Pittsburgh. After taking the admission at the university, he carried on his part time jobs. He carried on with his university education to finally graduate with a bachelor's degree from the Kelly School of Business.
Cuban always chose the cheaper courses for his education because his family was unable to afford his expenditures. He had to struggle a lot for rising from such as poverty to finally establish himself as the most popular businessman and investor of America. He owns a net worth of 3.2 billion US dollars. After establishing himself as an entrepreneur, he got married to his wife Tiffany Stewart. He also has three children and he is quite happy and contended in his family life.
Cuban after completing his business education, he shifted to Texas to look for better business opportunities. There he used to work as a bartender as well as a salesman for a software company. He could not continue there for a long time and finally started his own company business. The name of his company was given as Micro Solutions which was also a software development company. The company soon got the chance to get linked with some famous companies Lotus Notes, Carbon Copy and many more. He was also able to manage some sponsors for his company, which helped to expand his business.
Cuban sold his software business to a company named as H&R Block. This deal gained him a lot of profit. Next, he started his next company Broadcast.com, which provided employment to many candidates. The company became very popular on various social networking sites to accrue a huge amount of profit. Cuban started investing in several businesses to grow his profit. Within the year 2011, he was listed as one of the world's richest people on Forbes magazine.
He was also successful in establishing his name in the Guinness Book of Records for being the largest single business person to do e-commerce transaction. Cuban was also called as the 'shark’ investor person in the Shark Tank reality show on the ABC channel network, which was telecasted in the third season of 2012 and was also able to attract the attention of a lot of followers.
