Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid the English, journalist and news broadcaster was born on December 10, 1970 in Croydon, Surrey, UK. Her father, an Englishman of Scottish ancestry worked as a management consultant and her English mother was a nurse. She has two older siblings. Her parents divorced when she was 9. She was a student of Croham Hurst School, studied politics, philosophy and law at the University of Bristol. She went on to do a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism at Cardiff School of Journalism. While a student at the University of Bristol, she was the editor of Epigram, the student newspaper of the University.  She lives in Lambeth, London.

Katherine Jean Bolduan, called Kate, was born on July 26, 1983 in Goshen, Indiana, USA. She is the third child of the medical professionals Dr. Jeffery Bolduan and Nadine a registered nurse. She has three sisters. The Balduans are a tight knit family. Even though the children have grown and moved on in life, they still support each other. Bolduan left home to pursue an education in journalism at George Washington University. While in college, she played volleyball and did stage acting. From there, she moved to North Carolina and recently to Washington DC. Kate grew up in the small manufacturing town Indiana where she was a cheerleader, dancer and editor of her school newspaper. The smart and talented girl was named Indiana’s Junior Miss in 2000.

It was a terrible blow to the family; she went into depression and eventually dropped out of University. Later she enrolled for the two-year program on radio and television arts at Niagara College.
