Robin Michelle Meade was born on April 21, 1969 in Ohio, United States. She comes from a very humble background. Her father used to work at the coal mines, but later on he turned out to be a minister. Robin did her high school from New London High School. She then joined the Ashland University but later on shifted to Malone College and in 1991; she completed her Majors in radio or television production, programming and performance and Minors in political science. A confident personality, she went on to win the Miss Ohio title in the year 1992 and was amongst the top ten finalist of Miss America in the same year.

Robin has worked very hard to achieve what she is today. She never hesitated to move for the sake of her career. Her career graph in the field of journalism started with WMFD-TV where she was inducted as a reporter in Mansfield, Ohio. Next she joined WCMH-TV as a reporter and anchor in Columbus, Ohio and later the WJW-TV in Cleveland, Ohio. For her next job in WSVN-TV, she had to shift to Miami, Florida; there she worked as an anchor of the morning news program ‘Today in Florida,’ as a station noon anchor and also a health reporter.
Her next job at the WMAQ-TV, an affiliate of NBC Chicago; gave her more exposure than her past work. With this news channel she worked as an anchor for morning news and co-anchor for weekend news. She also did work as the station’s general assignment correspondent. It was here when she got a chance to cover the 1996 Olympics where she gave a superb coverage of the Centennial Olympic Park bombing.
In the year 2001, she went on to work with HLN, a subsidiary of CNN network where she did remarkable work while anchoring, ‘Operation Enduring Freedom’ and ‘Operation Iraqi Freedom.’ Apart from this, she regularly presents the ‘Morning Express with Robin Meade’ on the channel.
Meade is also associated with the Oprah Winfrey Network where, she along with others hosts the show ‘Ask Oprah’s All Stars.’
Robin Meade has achieved everything through her continuous efforts, will power and determination. On September 10, 2009 her book named, ‘Morning sunshine: How to Radiate Confidence and Feel It Too,’ was published. The book as defined by her as an autobiography which motivates and inspires.
Meade also sings very well, for the very first time on June 21, 2011, she showcased this talent of hers through the music album ‘Brand New Day.’ Again, on June 11, 2013 she went on releasing the album ‘Count on Me.’
Robin’s multitalented personality has brought her awards as well as fortune. She won a regional Emmy Award for her splendid report on the collision of a school bus and a train in Illinois in the year 1995. Lycos recognized her in the league of top 20 Television news personalities and in 2004, a Playboy online poll crowned her as the “Sexiest Newscaster”. In 2005, her Alma Mater, Ashland University gave her the Young Alumnus Award. She is a top earning journalist having annual salary of $750,000 and a net worth of $4.5 million.
Robin got married to Tim Yeager on November 6, 1993. She, along with her husband and pets, reside in Atlanta, the headquarters of CNN.
