Lyssa Rae Chapman, known as simply Lyssa Chapman, or also as “Baby Lyssa”, drew her first breath on 10th June in the year 1987. She was born in Denver, Colorado. Since her father, Duane “Dog” Chapman, had 12 children from three marriages, Lyssa appeared to be the ninth kid of his in general and one of the three kids from his third marriage with Lyssa Rae Brittain. She had a sister, Barbara Chapman, who died in a car accident in 2006, and a brother, named Tucker Chapman. Until Lyssa turned 10, the girl was raised by her father. Thereafter, however, her mother took responsibility for Lyssa and raised her in a tiny town in Alaska. Thus, the girl lost communication with the father for the period of six years.

Career Experience
When Lyssa Chapman renewed communication with her father, she got employed at the family company operating in the sphere of bail bonds, named “Da Kine Bail Bonds.” While being only a 19 year old girl, she obtained a license that allowed her to work as a bounty hunter.
However, she became able to enjoy a real fame with her debut in the “Dog the Bounty Hunter”, the A&E’s reality TV series that showed how Lyssa’s father, as well as herself, some of their family members, and friends, find and catch runaways. In particular, in this reality TV series the following family members, apart from Lyssa Chapman, took part: the brother of Dog, 3 sons and 2 daughters (in addition to Lyssa Chapman) of his, and one of his former wives, Beth Chapman.
Even though the reality TV series was really popular and aired for six seasons, A&E ceased the broadcast of this series on 21st May in the year 2012. Moreover, this reality show led to a number of conflicts within the family that resulted in the refusal of some family members to take part in the subsequent, new reality show, named: “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt”. Lyssa Chapman refused to take part in that show, too. She broke up all connections with her father and decided to focus her efforts on writing her book and operating a business.
As for 2015, however, Lyssa Chapman has become an owner of a small business in her native Honolulu. Also, she runs Proper Choices, Inc., a non-profit organization, the aim of which is to consult and educate people, and especially teenagers, about the pregnancy of teens. Her net worth is believed to be equal to $500 thousand.
