Jeannie Mai is a famous entertainer, TV personality and a producer, in America. She was born on 4th January, 1979. She is also a well-known fashion expert. Mai was born and brought up in San Jose, California and completed her schooling from her home country in Milpitas High School.

Personal life:
Jeannie Mai was born to a couple of different ethnicities, her mother being Vietnamese and father, being Chinese. This couple has 3 children’s; Jeannie was the elder one, following two younger sons. Jeannie had two younger brothers named, Dennis and Daniel. Jeannie completed her graduation degree, Communications being the main subject from De Anza College. Mai belonged to a mediocre family with total of 16 members; this made Mai start working at an early age. At the age of 16, Mai started giving interviews and started using the makeup of her mother, who was a local celebrity.
Mai was a Buddhist follower; she changed her religion from Buddhism and converted to Christianity. Mai had put up a Prayer box in one of the famous parks, Runyon Canyon, which offers scenic view in Los Angeles, in order to spread the love she had in her religion. She had a purpose on building the Prayer Box for the trekkers. Everyone was requested to write down a prayer and exchange it with the other prayer, already in the box. Jeannie Mai got married to Freddy Harteis on 11th August 2007. Harteis was in the profession of hosting on The Sportsman Channel for the series, ‘The Hollywood Hunter’.

Mai is well-known for her work with the Style Network and USA Network. She is associated with her hosting on series ‘How Do I Look?’ and Character Fantasy. She has worked in various different TV series including ‘Insider’, ‘Fashion Tips Today’ and ‘E! Entertainment’. Miss Universe, the pageant which is set up in partnership by NBC has been hosted by Mai.
She started her career in acting with Suite Life of Zach and Cody, which was a Disney’s production. Soon, she launched herself as a make-up artist for the best make up brand ‘Mac’ and she travelled to do make-up on various celebrity faces, Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys, being two of them.
In the year 2009, Mai took over the popular show of Style Network “How Do I Look?” She not only hosted this beauty makeover show but also guided women to discover and enhance beauty. She also showed them way how they could enhance their career by getting into fashion.
Mai believes in serving the needy; she helps and supports upcoming women designers and gives them, the platform to showcase their talents. She supports 7 organizations, which helps women, who are struggling with their careers. She is also a supporter for non-profit organizations, which helps underprivileged kids and also liberating kids and women from sexual harassment and providing them source of employment.
