Edyta Sliwinska was born on May 6, 1981 in Warsaw, Poland. Her parents are from a working-class. She was raised in Warshaw along with her siblings. She started her dancing class at age 10. During her teenage years she appeared on several television shows in Poland and even received numerous awards for participation in different International competitions all over the world. In the 2000 he decided to move to the United States. Seven years Edyta was a director as well as a choreographer at "Genesis DanceSport" in San Francisco. In the 2005 she made her appearance in the first season of popular reality show “Dancing with the Stars” along with her partner and former boxer Evander Holyfield. They both reached 5th place in the competition. The next year she got a 5th place too for dancing with actor George Hamilton.
In the third season she got her breakthrough time as well as the third place in the season finale by dancing with actor Joey Lawrence. In the sixth season she reached second place with Jason Tyler and their amazing Cha-Cha-Cha and Quickstep dance during the finale episode. It was her best ever finish at the show. After the tenth season she decided to make a little break and appeared again, only in the 22nd season.
After 11 seasons of hiatus, in the 2016 she announced about her return. Her partner becomes journalist Geraldo Rivera. The season start was not very successful and the couple left after second week on the project. Till date, she appeared in more than 130 episodes of the show.
In addition to her work as a dancer, she also made her appearances in commercials. She also played an episodic role of Ruby Love in the detective TV series ”CSI:NY”, where she was a salsa dance teacher. In the 2013 he participated in the television program “WWE Raw”. She appeared as a guest in the reality shows like “Entertainment Tonight”, “Home & Family”, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee” and “Good Morning America ”. She is a married lady. Her husband is Alec Mazo. Edyta met him during the ballroom dance competition in Blackpool, England. The couple tied their married knot in the 2007. They both wanted to create a big and strong family with a couple of children. She announced that she is expecting their first kid in the end of the 2013. Their son Michael Alexander Mazo was born on January 4, 2014. Her net worth is not revealed yet. She is available in the social sites like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
