Anne Heche is an American actress. She has appeared in several movies, some of the most notable of them being Return to Paradise, Six Days Seven Nights, Donnie Brasco, Psycho, and Prozac Nation. Apart from her movie roles, she has also appeared in several TV shows. She was seen in recurring parts in Men in Trees and Hung. Quite recently, she has also appeared in one episode of Quantico.

Early Life and Beginning of Career
Anne Heche was born as Anne Celeste Heche on May 25, 1969. Her birth city was Aurora in Ohio. She has four older siblings. When she was a child, her family relocated several times. Her father was a choir director and they lived in dire straits. When Heche was just 12, she worked at a dinner theater and the next year, her father died of AIDS. On Larry King Live, Heche had admitted that her father was a sexually deviant homosexual who lived a closeted life until the day of his death.
Later, Heche attended the Francis W. Parker School. During this time she auditioned for As the World Turns and won the part. However, she decided to complete her education first. Her first acting role thus turned out to be Another World, and that was the start of her acting career.
Growth as an Actress
Heche won her first Daytime Emmy Award for Another World in 1991. This gave her a great deal of recognition and she was cast in Murphy Brown. Later, she acted in her first movie O Pioneers! She also acted in Girls in Prison and Kingfish, both of them made-for-TV movies. At this time, she also appeared in a few erotic movies. Some of the notable movies of the 90s that Heche acted in were Walking and Talking, If These Walls Could Talk, Volcano, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Wag the Dog, and most remarkably, as the wife of Johnny Depp in the movie Donnie Brasco.
She then did a romantic movie opposite Harrison Ford in Six Days Seven Nights. It was at this time that her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres became public and, according to her, the leading lady roles dried up after that.
However, she went on to perform a few more roles in Psycho, Prozac Nation, and John Q. She won a recurring part in Ally McBeal as well. This led to more TV appearances such as in Nip/Tuck and Men in Trees, which was her own series. She also acted in the HBO show Hung.
Recent Work
Recently, Heche has appeared in Cedar Rapids and continues to appear in Hung. She has also featured in an indie comedy titled That’s What She Said. She was present in Heat as well. Quite recently, she was seen in Dig, an adventure series.
Personal Life
Heche had a very volatile relationship with Ellen DeGeneres. They separated in 2000, having dated for three years. The next year, she married a boyfriend named Coley Laffoon. They divorced in 2007 and have a son named Homer. Currently, it is believed that she left her husband she is involved in a romantic relationship with James Tupper.
Anne Heche is considered to be a very beautiful woman and was once a popular poster girl. Her net worth at present is believed to be $8 million.
