Todd Heap is a well known former American Football player who plays at the Tight End position for his team. Todd Heap hails from the country of the United States of America. Todd Heap has represented the Arizona Cardinals and the Baltimore Ravens, in addition to this, while Todd Heap was with the Baltimore Ravens, he was awarded the Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honour and in the year 2006 Todd Heap was presented the NFL Alumni Tight End of the Year.


Personal Life

Todd Heap was born in the city of Mesa, in the state of Arizona, United States of America, thereby making him a citizen of the country by virtue of his birth there itself. According to his biography, he was born on the 16th of March, in the year 1980 as Todd Benjamin Heap. Todd Heap was raised by his parents, John Robert and Deena Elizabeth Heap, along with 5 siblings, of which two are sisters named Carli and Alyssa while three are younger brothers named Greg, Brad and John.

Todd Heap attended the Mesa Mountain Valley High School and was at the Arizona State College later on in his life. He even went on to attain a degree from W.P Carey School of Business. It was from his days at Arizona State University that he began playing college football.

Todd Heap is married to Ashley Heap, who was his girlfriend for a long a long time before that. The couple got married in 2001 and together they have 5 children, the oldest being a daughter named Brooklyn, who was born in the year 2002. Then the couple had twins, both boys, named Kyle and Preston, who were born in the year 2006. Later, in the year 2009, the couple welcomed another child, a son, named Cade. The youngest daughter, named Holly Alivia, who was killed accidentally by Todd himself, in the year 2017, was 4 years old then. Todd was driving the truck when he accidentally hit her. Despite rushing to the hospital, the couple couldn’t save their daughter.

Career

Todd Heap was the 31st overall pick at the NFL Draft of the year 2001 by The Baltimore Ravens and while Todd Heap was with the Baltimore Ravens,. In his very first season with the team, Todd registered 16 receptions for 206 yards. He also had a single touchdown that season. In the year 2002, Todd started as the tight end for the Ravens regularly. Todd Heap continued to play for the Baltimore Ravens, having various ups such as he was awarded the Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honour and he hit lows too with multiple injuries.

Later, in the year 2011, on the 31st of July, Todd Heap entered an agreement and signed up to play for the Arizona Cardinals. His career with them was short lived though, as he played a total of 12 games only, in which he totaled 32 receptions for 377 yards and just the single touchdown. It was after this that he picked up an injury, never to return to the club and to be released on the 4th of December, in the year 2012. Todd's net worth is estimated to be $13 million.
