Lee Pace is a very popular American actor who has achieved a lot of fame in his career through his works on television.


Personal life  

Lee Pace was born in the year 1979 on March 25 in Oklahoma, United States. He was the elder child of his parents and had two siblings. His parents were James Roy Pace and Charlotte. Both his parents worked and he had to take care of his siblings. His father was an engineer and his mother was a school teacher.

Besides this, his father also had oil mills in Saudi Arabia. He spent most of his childhood days in Saudi Arabia. Later, they had to move to Texas owing to his father’s job. He also spent his school life in Texas where he attended the Klein High School which is a suburban area in Houston. Pace had a keen interest in acting and theatres.

Later, he even quit his school at the age of thirteen to join the Alley Theatre of Houston. But he returned and again joined the school to complete his graduation. After that, he joined the Julliard’s School of Drama Division to learn better acting strategies. He has now become very successful in his career though till now, no information regarding his personal life and girlfriend has been gathered. Career

Lee Pace started his theatre career at a very young age. After completing his graduation, he started making appearance in several dramas and plays. His initial notable appearances were The Fourth Sister and The Creadeaux Canvas. After that, he got the chance to work with the production house of Craig Lucas named as the Small Tragedy. This work fetched him a lot of popularity and he received the ‘Lucille Lortel Award’ for his outstanding acting. He received his second nomination which he received in the year 2006 for his notable role in the play Guardians which was directed by Peter Morris.

Pace received his greatest opportunity when he was starred in ‘The Normal Heart’. The show was first premiered at the Golden Theatre and there were altogether 96 performances where he played the role of Bruce Niles. Throughout his career, Pace has secured several awards such as the Golden Globe Award and the Gonatham Award for his incredible performances in various shows. He was also in the talks of the critics when he was casted in the films The Fall and in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. He was also very much appreciated for his supporting roles in Infamous, The Good Shepherd and The White Countess.

In 2011, Pace did the role of Thranduil in the film, Hobbit. In the year 2012, Pace was casted in the role of Garrett in one of the most popular film, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II. He has received many honours and awards for his acting in these popular films.
