Harris Faulkner

Harris Kimberly Faulkner is a famous American newscaster and television host for the Fox News Channel. She was born on October 13th, 1965, in Atlanta, Georgia. Harris spent her childhood with her father, retired Lieutenant Colonel Bob Harris, a United States Army officer and Army Aviator, and her mother, Shirley Harris. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics and Mass Communication.

Faulkner started her career as a freelance writer and worked for many different news outlets including “LA Weekly”.  After that, she got a chance to work in the television field thanks to an internship at KCOP-TV. Successively, she moved to Greenville, North Carolina, to work as a reporter and anchor for WNCT-TV. The next step in her career was work experience in Kansas City, from 1992 to 2000, where she worked for WDAF-TV. After this experience, she started working for KSTP-TV in Minneapolis, where she worked until July of 2004 as part of an anchor team for the programs in the evening. In 2005, Harris Faulkner was a correspondent for the program “A Current Affair”. She then presented “Fox News Live”, “Fox Report”, “Fox News Extra”, and, lately, she also got the co-hosting spot on the daytime Fox News Show “Outnumbered”. Harris Faulkner’s career has been filled with awards and honors: she has won six Emmy Awards, including the 2005 Emmy for Best Newscaster and Best News.

Harris Faulkner is a great journalist and anchor, with many successes during her career, but if we asked her which one has been the happiest moment of her professional and personal life, she would reply that it was in 2003, when (her words) “I got an Emmy and in the same time I got a Tony”. In fact, 2003 was a particularly happy year for Harris Faulkner, since she not only won her first Emmy Award, but also married her boyfriend Tony Berlin. At that time Tony Berlin was working at ABC’s morning show titled “Good Morning America”. They are an affectionate and romantic couple that has never had any rumor or scandal of any kind reported by the media. They met each other in 2001, at a Karaoke Bar in Minneapolis, and for Tony it was love at first sight. He is a very caring and responsible husband and father: the couple has a rock solid union, and they also have two children, Bella and Danika Berlin. Bella is the elder one, and both daughters are very cute and pretty. These proud parents always give priority to their children, and they love to enjoy their time with them. The Berlin-Faulkner family settled in New Jersey, at Edgewater.

Harris Faulkner loves to spend quality time with her family;  family remains the first and foremost important thing in her life. We can also affirm without fear of being contradicted that Tony Berlin is a very lucky man for having such a caring, beautiful, lovable, rich, and successful wife. The couple is active on social media, and they like to share pictures of their romantic dinners or even mundane events. Recently they shared pictures of the New York Knicks’ NBA match that they both attended on Valentine’s Day in 2016; to find the time to celebrate Valentine’s Day together despite their busy schedules says a lot about the strength of this couple’s relationship. Harris Faulkner seems to have maintained the proper balance between her personal and professional life. The couple appears to be the world’s best parents; Harris once affirmed during an interview that the happiest moment in every woman’s life is when they get pregnant.

Before her marriage with Tony, Harris had some serious problems with a stalker. She tells her story with these words: “I met a man who worked as a production assistant at WNCT in North Carolina. He was good looking and a nice guy, I thought. We dated for a few months but I never planned on a long relationship. My main focus was work and sending out resumes so I could move up market sizes. When I got a job in Kansas City, as far as I was concerned the relationship was over; although, I was willing to remain friends. I never expected him to follow me to Kansas City. My focus was on work but as it turned out his focus was on me. I had no idea he had moved to Kansas City, let alone he had moved across the street from me. What I didn’t know was while the relationship had ended for me, in a fantasy sense, it continued for him. And, what I didn’t know, was he was the type of person that wasn’t about to let go…”

Initially, the ex-boyfriend followed her and used to send her flowers and letters and place phone calls, even as many as fifty or sixty in a single night. Wherever she went, he was in her shadow. Soon the situation became unbearable for her; the stalker started spending hours in front of her apartment, menacing, with bodily harm, the men she was dating, and not losing focus on her even for a minute. Harris had to change her phone number many times, but he was always able to find out the new one. In the end, her stalker got arrested, but the fear of the history repeating itself, after he was free to leave jail, keeps disturbing her. This experience started in 1993, and yet her stalker remains as a disturbing thought even today. The only positive note is that, thanks to this sad, stressful story, Harris found her faith, and she documented everything in the book “Breaking News: God Has A Plan, An Anchorwoman’s Journey Through Faith”.

Harris Faulkner is a motivational speaker who inspires people to not be a victim of any kind in any situation that might threaten their lives.

On a curious note, in 2015 Harris Faulkner sued toy manufacturer Hasbro for five million dollars for producing a plastic toy hamster that used her name and likeness. Harris Faulkner and Hasbro came to a settlement to resolve the television personality's claims but no terms have been released by either of the parties. In a joint statement, Hasbro and Faulkner say, "The ‘Harris Faulkner’ toy is no longer manufactured or sold by Hasbro.
