David Shuster

David Martin Shuster is an American TV host and hosts talk shows in radio. He is well-known for his work in Piranha Sharks in 2016 and Stateside with David Shuster, which is a TV series.


David's Biography

David Shuster was born on July 22, 1967, in Bloomington, Indiana, as the son of Arnold Shuster and Susan Klein. He has a brother named Jonathan. David got his early education from Bloomington High School South in 1985. He pursued his higher studies in Michigan and graduated with honors from the University of Michigan. He was passionate about journalism. He is also pursuing his Master’s degree at Georgetown University.

His Career

Shuster started his career as a journalist with CNN which is an American news-based television channel. He played a huge role in covering the 1992 presidential election campaign and the Persian Gulf war. He worked as a field producer. In 1994, Shuster joined ABC, which stands for American Broadcasting company leaving CNN. One of the important works of Shuster with ABC was covering the Whitewater scandal which is an American political controversy of the 90s. He received Emmy Award from KATV for his work on exposing manufactured housing scandal. In 1996, David joined Fox news leaving ABC. He worked as a correspondent from Washington D.C. He was renowned for covering the U.S. military operations in Afghanistan.

Shuster led the fox team in covering the Starr report, Monica Lewinsky Scandal and many more. Shuster joined MSNBC in 2002 leaving the Fox news. In 2003, he traveled to Qatar and covered Operation Iraqi Freedom. He covered the California recall election in 2003 when actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected as the governor. He also appeared in Hardball which is an American TV talk show. In 2007, when Shuster was interviewing Marsha Blackburn who is a Congresswoman, he asked the name of the last soldier from her congressional district who was killed in Iraq.

Blackburn could not answer his question. In 2008, The TV host was suspended for a period of two weeks from all the NBC news and MSNBC appearances when he made comments about Chelsea Clinton’s campaign for her mother Hillary Clinton. In 2010, MSNBC suspended Shuster for an indefinite period of time for recording a new show on CNN without the approval of his current employer MSNBC. In 2011, David joined Current TV and appeared as a guest-host of Countdown. In 2012, Shuster started his own show on WPWC called Take Action News with David Shuster.
