Travis Lane Stork, born on 9th March 1972, has been a U.S. television personality. He is particularly famous for his performances in the TV show entitled The Bachelor. He also hosted the talk show entitled The Doctors.

Personal Life

Travis Lane Stork’s parents had been farmers in the Midwest. Thus, he has a rural background. Travis took birth in Colorado and studied at Duke University from where he completed his undergraduate courses. Next, he attended a medical school under the University of Virginia. He completed his hospital residency from the Vanderbilt University Medical Center situated in Nashville, Tennessee. During the period of his residency, he worked in the show entitled The Bachelor. Travis has been a pediatrician and a physician for the emergency room.

Much is not known about Travis’ parents and family details. He has been the first and the only doctor in his entire family. He sought a divorce from his wife and is currently, single. He had married Charlotte Brown, a pediatrician, on 30th June 2012 after dating her for around three years. When Travis proposed to Charlotte, they were vacationing in Hawaii. Career

Travis did his graduation with distinction from Duke University and obtained a degree in medical outstandingly from the University of Virginia. He had been associated with Alpha Omega Alpha as a member during his University days. It was during the period of his residency that he came to be associated with The Bachelor Season 8. After completing his residency, he started practicing medicine at Vanderbilt, and at a hospital situated in Colorado at the same time.

Travis has been hosting the daytime talk show The Doctors from September 2008. He is continuing with the show during 2017-2018 in its tenth season. He, in the show, heads a group of three doctors specialized in different fields namely obstetrics/gynecology, plastic surgery, and pediatrics. These specialist doctors discuss the health-related issues and also address questions from the audience. Travis had also contributed to another show entitled Dr. Phil which also discussed health-related issues.

In 2013, Travis joined MDLIVE, a telehealth company, as the chairman of the company’s Medical Advisory Board, but he left the company after some time. Travis has written a number of books on health-related topics for the benefit of the general public. As for awards and achievements, the show entitled 'The Doctors', has been awarded Daytime Emmy Award in 2010. As per his biography, Travis’ net worth is estimated at $8 million.
