Ashley Harlan was born to Jeannie Harlan and David W. Harlan. She was born in Lawrence County, but she spent her early life with siblings at New Castle. Ashley studied at Laurel High School from where she did her graduation in the year 2004. After that she attended St. Francis University situated at Loretto, Cambria County for further education. She did her graduation from there in 2009, and obtained a degree in Health Science.
After graduating from the University, Ashley resumed her studies after one year, and obtained Master’s degree in Physician’s Assistant. It is quite surprising that she ended up as a sports person. However, Ashley had been very athletic during her childhood days. She was intensely interested in softball, basketball, and volleyball right from her school to the University days. She had been a member of the volleyball team which won the WPIAL Class AA Championship in the year 2000. She had been chosen to be a member of All American Scholar-Athletes.
As mentioned earlier, Ashley has been married to Ben Roethlisberger. Ashley and Ben Roethlisberger met each other for the first time when they were introduced to each other by a mutual friend in 2005 in a training camp. They dated each other for around six years before getting married on 23rd July 2011.
Having been born and brought up in a Christian family, Ashley did not live with Ben Roethlisberger before marriage. The wedding ceremony was organized in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and it was attended by around 650 guests. They have been blessed with three children namely Baylee Marie Roethlisberger born on 19th March 2014, Benjamin Todd Roethlisberger born on 21st November 2012, and Bodie Roethlisberger born in 2017.
They have been living happily with their children, and Ashley has not divorced her husband as yet.
