When he was 21, he got his real estate license and started his career as an investor. Tarek’s name appeared more and more often in Orange County, Calif. Tarek and Christina met at the office. It was a love at first sight, so soon the couple decided to marry. In 2009, the wedding ceremony was held. As they both were the real estate agents, they became the partners. More than hundred homes, mostly situated in Orange County, California, were sold due to their cooperation.

Besides television, the family also founded a real estate agency called “The El Moussa Group” situated in Orange County, California. In 2016, it was announced that the pair broke up. Now, there are rumors that they are already dating with other people. Tarek and Christina are parents of two children. They welcomed their first child, Taylor El Moussa, on the 22nd of December, 2010. Their second baby’s birth happened in 2015, and the girl was named Brayden El Moussa. Though the family separated, they overcome some difficult situations together. One of them occurred in 2013, when one of the fans noticed some tumor on Tarek’s neck. After the examination, biopsy and ultrasound, it was discovered that Tarek had a stage 2 thyroid cancer. Fortunately, they all cope with the disease, and later Tarek announced on his Instagram account that there is no danger of the sickness to come back.
