Ryan Stiles, an actor and a famous comedian and stand up artist by profession, came to life on April 22nd 1959. He was born in Seattle, Washington, US to the parents Sonny and Irene Stiles. His parents had 5 children and he was the youngest of them. Stiles suffers from the fear of flying in an aircraft since a very young age. He is 6' 6" (1.98 m) in height and is known for his characteristics clothes he wears and strange shoes. Ryan because of his height is often teased by his friends as a ‘Giraffe’. He started with the high school with ‘R.C. Palmer Junior Secondary School’ and later on moved to ‘Richmond Senior Secondary’ but at the age of 17 years he left the high school in between before the completion of the program to pursue his interest in acting and a stand-up comedian career. This move of his was not much appreciated by his parents but he started to support himself financially and continued performing at various stand up shows and concerts. He also performed at various clubs and gained some popularity there in the beginning because of his performances. Ryan later on married his present wife Patricia McDonald in 1988. They met in a hotel where she was a waitress. The couple has been together since then and has got three children named ‘Sam’, ‘Claire’ and ‘Mackenzie’. Ryan is known to be a family man and when he is not working, he likes to spend time with his wife and kids.

According to his biography, Ryan started his career performing in various clubs and concerts as a stand-up comedy actor. He has always been since his young age inclined towards comedy. Later on Ryan acted in many TV commercials to earn his living. He appeared in some very popular commercials like ‘Nike’, ‘KFC’, Kinko’s’, ‘Pizza Hut’ and many others. He has acted in around 8 TV commercials in his professional career. Because of his stand-up acts, he was noticed by the directors and he got a major break with the TV show ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ The show went on to become a major hit and he acted in the show for 16 years starting from 1990 till 2006. His role was very much appreciated by the critics and the audiences and he started getting many offers because of the role. Later on he acted in many movies like ‘Rainbow War’, ‘Hot Shots’, ‘Nobody Knows Anything’, ‘Spooky Buddies’ and ‘Treasure Buddies’ to name a few. He also acted in various TV shows like ‘Two and a Half Men’, ‘Dharma & Greg’, ‘Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza’ and many others mainly as a comic actor. He has always been appreciated for his acting in the movies and TV shows.
Ryan has also been associated with social work wherein he has performed and donated for various social organizations who have worked for children and against poverty. Ryan’s total net worth is close to $6.5 million and is on increasing trend because of his acting in movies and TV shows.
