Robert Townsend

Robert Townsend was born on 6 February 1967 in Chicago, U.S. His mother’s name was Shirley Townsend and mother’s name was Ed Townsend. His parents when he was very young, and he was raised by his mother alone.Robert Townsend has three siblings. He is presently 58 years old. He is an American national with a combination of African American ethnicity. He completed his graduation from Austin High School, Chicago. He has a tall personality with a height of 5 feet and 11 inches and a healthy body weight. He has a dark complexion and the most mysterious eyes which have been able to charm his audience forever. From his school days , he had an aim of establishing a benchmark in the showbiz industry and it was reflected from his utmost fascinations towards television and films. During his free time, he began to act and impersonate famous personalities . He has faced lots of hardships.

According to his biography, his acting career began when he was able to grab the attention of Chicago's Experimental Bag Theatre by his outstanding talent to effortlessly transform into any character. His other productions include Robert Townsend and his partner in Crime which was an award winning show, The Townsend Television on and to name a few. His other milestones include famous television shows like Carmen and ten thousand Black Men named George. He also did many social services and he was actively engaged to help unsigned filmmakers for which he had created an organisation named Robert Townsend Foundation. He is the proud owner of a renowned film production company named The Townsend Entertainment Corporation. He is also popularly known as Eddie Murphy.

Moving on to his personal life he was married to Cleri Jones on 15th September 1990. But unfortunately the bond of husband and wife could not last long, and both of them parted their ways. He was divorced from his spouse on 9 August 2011. He has three children with her. Robert is an exceptionally good father as his two daughters Siera and Skylar are the apple of his eyes. Their father is a true inspiration to them and his two daughters are also following in his footsteps, Struggling to set their career in the Hollywood Showbiz Industry. In spite of his busy schedule, he manages to spend quality time with his children. He earns a handsome salary taking his net worth around 2 million USD.
