Rob Bartlett was born on 18 may 1957 in New York, USA. He was born to American parents of white ethnicity. He started his career with the show called Imus in 1988. This show aired on WFAN-AM radio station at that time. He used to impersonate different celebrities and talk in their voice. His first characters were on the famous actor Arnold Schwarzenegger whom he composed so good that people loved the show and it started to get famous. He also started to do a voice of another famous personality Manuel Antonio Noriega. His impressions were very good and his style soon caught on with people listening to his channel from all over America. He later got an offer to perform at MTV for half an hour. He also performed in Stand-up Spotlight, a show on VH1. The same year he was called by David Letterman to perform on his show Late Night With David Letterman.
In 1993 he was hired by the WWF to anchor the show. He stayed with the show for just a short while as he had some controversies in it and had to leave the show to focus on his career. For Not For Profit TV Special show which he wrote and produced he was nominated for 5 Emmy Awards in which he won the Best Writing and Best Entertainment Program award.
