Nate Mooney was born on January 26, 1971 in Franklin, Wisconsin. His family split when he was a kid. He was raised by his mother and also has three siblings. He studied at the Franklin High School. He graduated in the 1990 and enrolled in the Iowa State University. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Afterwards, tried to find himself in something. He was interested in acting and has made several trying with auditions. In the end he decided to pursue an acting career. In the 2006 he appeared in the movie “Charlotte's Web”, he played the role of Lurvy and it’s made him popular too.

In the 2008 he appeared in the movie “Black Crescent Moon” as Bucky Adelson. In the same year he took a part in the film “Pretty Bird” as Randy Pendler. In the 2009 he appeared in the science fiction action-thriller film “Push”. Nate also has made his appearance in the popular criminal TV series “Breaking Bad”, he played an arms dealer in the third season.

During the 2010-2012 he has made his appearance in numerous movies like “One for the Money”, “Thank You Note from a Dead Man”, “Deep Dark Canyon”, “Black Hole” and “Dead Cat”. In the 2013 he played a secondary role in the movie “Night Moves”. In the 2016 he was involved in @Midnight and became the first contestant who was in third place and didn't leave the stage. The last projects of his are “Rules Don't Apply”, “Wilson” and “Girlfriend's Day”.

He also has done incredible work in numerous of the TV series. In the 2015 he appeared in the 13 episodes in the thriller TV series “American Odyssey”, where he played the role of Bob Offer. The last his appearance was in the TV series “Stan Against Evil”, where he played Deputy Leon Drinkwater.
