Kelly Monaco

Born on 23rd May 1976, Kelly Monaco is a famous American TV personality, actress and model. Her role in TV show General Hospital playing as Sam McCall is well known and appreciated. Kelly won first season of Dancing with the Stars. In April 1997, she was Playmate Playboy for the time.

Personal Life

Kelly opened her eyes for the first time in the city if Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born to Albert Al and Carmina Monaco. Kelly has four sisters named Christine, Marissa, Carmina and Amber. Kelly went to Pocono Mountain East High School. Here Kelly attended acting classes as well. After completing high school, Kelly at a local resort and worked as a lifeguard. She also went to Northampton Community college, while working in the resort. Kelly also does charity for black people and for the Jewish community. She found peace in her heart and felt happy by serving and helping these people.

Kelly was in relationship with Mike Gonzalez, who she met in Junior high school. Both use to work as lifeguard and also went to community college together. The couple broke up in 2009 after 18 years of relationship. In the same year, her apartment was robbed by burglars. She was in shock for the break up and the robbery, which could be seen in the acting. Kirsten Storms helped her a lot in getting pass this difficult situation.

Kelly has also been part of many charity events. She, in 2009, with other few celebrities went to Kenya for supplying food and daily needs to needy children. The program was called Feed the Children. At the end of same year Kelly and her General Hospital stars worked to help a school in L.A.

Career

Kelly began her career in 90s’. She was part of Playboy Playmate for the month of April in the year 1997. Kelly also appeared in Playboy Special Edition.  Kelly has worked in many movies and TV soaps in her career.

In 1997, she appeared in her first onscreen TV show named Baywatch. In 1998, she made her appearance in BASEketball and Welcome to Hollywood. In 1999, she did two movies Idle Hands and Mumford and also appeared in TV show name Late Last Night. In 2000, she began to work in a TV show, Port Charles. She was part of this show for three years.

In 2001, she also appeared in Spin City as a Nurse. In 2003, she appeared as Sam McCall/ Alicia Montenegro in the famous TV show General Hospital. She also appeared and participated in a reality show twice in year 2005 and 2012, named Dancing with the Stars. In 2011, she worked in two television shows named ‘The Edge of the Garden’ and ‘Dirty Soap’. Recently she appeared in a television show named ‘Baby Daddy’ in 2015.
