Eddie Redmayne was born in the year 1982 on January 6th. He spent his early years in Westminster. His family was absolutely into the business. Both his parents were into different types of business. Patricia, his mother, was the owner of the relocation business and Richard Redmayne, his father, was into corporate finance business. His grandparents were never into the business industry and belonged from social and engineering jobs. He grew up with his siblings. He has two elder brothers, a younger brother and a younger sister. During his educational period, he changed several school. First, he visited the Eaton House, then Colet Court and after that, he went to the Eton College.
After graduating from the Eton College, he attended the Trinity College in Cambridge. He studied a major in History of Art and in the year 2003, he earned an honours degree from the University. As he suffered from an eye problem and had colour-blindness, his family did not want him to pursue this subject. They thought that he would hardly have any scope in his career if he pursues this subject. But he had a strong passion for art and wrote a dissertation on the signature colour of Yves Klein.
He was unable to find any such career opportunity with art. He thought of pursuing acting as he had all the qualities of becoming an actor. He had a perfect height along with great figure and good looks. Despite having all the other qualities of an actor, he lacked the potential of portraying his role on the screen. He decided to pursue modelling before devoting himself to acting completely. He started his modelling career in the year 2008 with Burberry. He got a great chance in the year 2012 when he modelled for Cara Delevingne. He achieved a lot of popularity in his career and was also counted among the International Best Dressed List.
He wanted to sharpen his skills as an actor so that he can become successful in the future. He started doing stage performances and appeared for many theatre dramas like the Goat, Twelfth Night and many more. Due to his incredible acting, he secured the 50th Evening Standard Theatre Awards. He was also awarded as the Best Newcomer in the theatre. His film career began in the year 2006 when he appeared in the film Last Minds.
After the huge success of the film, he appeared in many films like Powder Blue, The Yellow Handkerchief, The Good Shepherd, Black Death, Savage Grace and many more. He is now married to Hannah Bagshawe and also has a daughter whose name is Mary Redmayne. The couple will soon be blessed with their second child. There are no such rumours about their separation or divorce and he is leading a happy married life with his family.
