Darin Brooks, the charming and dashing young sensation from NBC’s primetime drama series “Days of our Lives” is an upcoming talent in Hollywood. Darin’s best works include playing Max Brady in the famed series “Days of our lives”. The handsome actor has also worked in several other TV series the most notable among them being Blue Mountain State, The bold and the beautiful, etc.

PERSONAL LIFE:

Darin Brooks was born as Darin Lee Brooks on 27th May, 1985, in Honolulu, Hawaii. His parents are Norah Brooks and Barbara Brooks and the couple divorced, when Brooks was only 7 years old. Since then, the young actor was raised by his mother. He is of Polish descent. Brooks was passionate about acting, since a very early age. He performed in various school plays. He garnered wide praise for his portrayal as the Prince who saves Rapunzel in the school play “In the woods”.

The dashing star always knew he would become an actor. In order to pursue his dream, he soon enrolled in acting classes and took up lessons. He also did modelling and took up jobs as an extra in various movies and TV shows. It was then that he was spotted by Kathy Henderson, a popular casting director.

Darin soon moves to Los Angeles where he enrolled himself at the iconic Ivana Chubbuck acting school. The drama school is world renowned and has trained many Hollywood A-listers. Some of its noteworthy alumni are Beyoncé, Eva Mendes, Charlize Theron, etc. In LA, He also re-established ties with Kathy Henderson and got himself an agent. From there on there has been no looking back. As far as his personal life is concerned, he is married to longtime girlfriend, Kelly Kruger. The couple tied the knot in 2016 after 6 years of dating. The wedding took place in Hawaii.

CAREER:

After starring in a few uncredited roles in various movies and series, he landed the pivotal role in Days of our lives. The show has been the longest running series in American television history airing continuously from 1965. The cast have been renewed time and again; however the plot revolves around the two pivotal families, Bradys and Hortons. Darin played one of the crucial characters in the series, Max Brady, from 2005 to 2009.

For his portrayal of the character, the young actor was nominated for Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in 2008. He was again nominated under the same category the following year and won the award. The dashing actor was also nominated for the Indie series awards for bloomers for playing Max Brady’s character.

Following this he also starred in Blue Mountain State as Alex Moran, and Wyatt Spencer on the CBS drama The Bold and the Beautiful. Brooks loves to play the guitar, bass guitar, and drums during his leisure time. Brooks and his wife are members of the humanitarian organisation Aid Still Required.
