Christina Perri is known as an American songwriter and singer of Bucks County in Pennsylvania. Her debut single was Jar of Hearts and was charted when she sung it on the television show of Fox called So You Think You Can Dance in the year 2010. The single sold 3 million copies in US and it became the hit all over the world. In UK, it got to number 3 in charts and it was in Top 40 in more than 3 months. After sometime, Perri released the extend player called The Ocean Way Sessions.

When Jar of hearts got attention, Perri had to sign the record deal from Atlantic Records. She released her debut album called Lovestrong in the year 2011.
Christina Perri is a child to Mary with Dante Perri and was born in Pennsylvania. Her elder brother Nick Perri was playing the guitar in the group with Matt Sorum, Perry Farrell, Silvertide and Shinedown. She finished her studies in Archbishop Ryan High School in the year 2004. She is the one who taught herself on how the guitar is played when she was still 16 years old and she was watching the video tape where Shannon Hoon was playing in Blind Melon.
When she was still young, she acted and played in the music. She said that she learnt how to play guitar and piano since she was missing hearing the music being played when she moved away. According to Perri, she would also sing and the songs will start to appear.
When Christina Perri reached 21 years, she went to live in Los Angeles, she said that she was terrified of living away her family and she cried for some days. Afterwards she got married and was producing the music video to survive. After 18 months, she had to divorce and she moved to a smaller apartment and started to live alone and was working on her music. In 2009, she went back to her home, Philadelphia and this is the time she recorded Jar of Hearts. Afterwards, she also went back in Los Angeles working as a waitress during the day at the café Melrose and was recording in the night.
In the year 2013, Perri started to tweet and to post the pictures on the Instagram in the regards of the new album she was about to launch, the hash tag was album two. During the month of February, she partnered with non-profit organization called To Write Love on Her Arms at a three stop tour in order to raise the money for this charity. She sang the song from her second album under the title I Believe during this show
The last song in the album was titled Human and it was released on iTunes the same day she performed it at The Queen Latifah Show. She said that her new album is going to be titled Head or Heart. Burning Gold was the second video for Christmas in Washington. Christina Perri was also expected to open the Demi Lovato for North American World Tour
