Ali Astall was born on 18th December 1978 in Newcastle, Australia. She is the daughter of Anthony Stall and Angela Stall and also has a brother named Simon Astall who is a director, at a music company. She holds the nationality of Australia by birth! She also holds the citizenship of the United Kingdom. She and her brother Simon were raised by their parents in a village outside Woking in Northwest Surrey, England.
