Jeff Stelling is an English sports Journalist and a sports presenter. He is well known for his stint as TV presenter for numerous sports shows. Furthermore, he is the Football President of Hartlepool United.

Ever since he has taken up multiple jobs as a reporter for Middlesbrough F.C. on Radio tees in the late 70s to a sports presenter on London’s LBC Sportswatch programme in the early 80s. Also, he covered the Olympic Games in LA and Seoul for BBC. He turned newsreader at TV-am, Eurosport, British Satellite Broadcasting.

In 1992, he moved to Sky as a presenter. In 2003, he won an award as a sports presenter, special edition of The Weakest Link. In 2007, an honorary doctorate of Professional Studies was bestowed upon Stelling by the University of Teesside; a public university in Middlesbrough, England.

He won the Sports Broadcaster of the Year, for four consecutive years, based on a poll of the members of the Sports Journalist’s Association. Also, he was the presenter for the Channel 4 quiz show Countdown.
