Tim Allen Dick was born on June 13, 1953 in Denver, Colorado. Sixty-two years old Tim Allen is the son of Gerald and Martha Dick. His embarrassing last name made him develop a sense of humor, and he used his wit to avert insults. He attended Ernest W. Seaholm High School in Birmingham then went to Central Michigan University, but later he transferred to Western Michigan University to earn a bachelor's degree in television and radio production, and graduated in 1975.


Married Life:

Tim Allen met his first wife Laura Deibel in Western Michigan University, where Laura was famous as Tim Allen’s girlfriend.  Allen married Deibel in 1978, and was blessed with a baby girl in 1989. The couple named their daughter `Katherine’.

No relationship is free from differences, but working them out is what that really matters. Tim and Laura were unable to sort out their differences, and unfortunately in 1999 Laura filed for divorce.

In 2006, Allen wedded another long-term girlfriend Jane Hajduk. Again Tim was blessed with a baby girl on March 28, 2009 whom he named `Elizabeth’.

Career:

Tim Allen, after his graduation in 1976 started working at a sporting goods store, at the company's in-house advertising agency, and as a side business he started making money as a narcotics dealer.

His drug dealing activity was caught on October 2, 1978. He was sentenced to 8 years in federal prison, but he only spent 28 months at Sandstone Federal Correctional Institution. Upon his release, he started his comedy career at the Comedy Castle in Detroit.

Allen’s most famous sitcom, `Home Improvement’ was debuted in 1991. This television show was his biggest hit which earned him his first Peoples' Choice Award for Favorite Male Television Performer by 1992— a distinction he held for eight consecutive years. By 1993, Allen had an Emmy nomination under his belt, and Home Improvement was a darling show for people.

In all, Allen is a film producer, actor, screenwriter, comedian, film director, television director, and voice actor.
