Morgan Spurlock, a multi-talented person, came to life on November 7th 1970 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He was born to the parents Ben and Phillis Spurlock. Morgan is known for his acting and comic skills as well as is known to be a producer, director, writer and a filmmaker by profession. He also has an active interest in politics. Spurlock did his high school from ‘Woodrow Wilson High School’ in 1989 and later on graduated from ‘New York University’ with a specialization in filmmaking. He is 6' 2" (1.88 m) in height and is known for his smart looks with a characteristic horseshoe moustache that he bears. Morgan in his early days of career was rejected 5 times by a film school and he took motivation from there to become a big star and a great producer later on. Morgan married his first wife and earlier girlfriend named ‘Mary P. Sommer’ but the relation could not sustain for long and they both filed for a divorce later on. Post that in 2006, Morgan married his second wife ‘Alexandra Jamieson’ and the couple gave birth to a son named ‘Laken James Spurlock’ who was born in 2009. However Morgan’s relation with his wife Alex could not last long and they both separated in 2011. Morgan is staying alone now without any partner in New York City in the US.


According to his biography, Spurlock started his career as an assistant producer in the popular movies like ‘Léon: The Professional’, ‘Bullets over Broadway’ and ‘Kiss of Death’ starting from 1994. He later on produced and directed in over 40 movies starting from 2000s and continuing over 2 decades. Most of the movies of his are very well recognized and appreciated by the critics and the audiences. Morgan has also produced, directed and acted in multiple documentary movies and is known for his witty and humorous characters in various documentaries. He went on to produce the famous documentary named ‘Super Size Me’ which was an instant hit. For this documentary, Morgan gained over 24 pounds in weight to look close to the character in the documentary. He also went on to produce other successful documentaries like ‘Where in the World Is Osama bin Laden’, ‘Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope’, ‘One Direction: This Is Us’ and many others. Morgan has also acted and made many TV shows like ‘Last Laugh '04’, ‘The 50 Greatest Documentaries’, ‘30 Days’, ‘Know Your Enemy: Al Qaeda's Third Wave’ and multiple others. Morgan has also been a host to the CNN IBN show named ‘Inside Man’.

Morgan, because of his work in documentaries and his production is often compared to another famous documentary maker ‘Michael Moore’. Morgan has a total net worth of around $10 million and his net worth is projected to increase in the future as well because of his continuation of work in the movies and TV shows. Two of his movies are in production and are set to release very soon and audiences are eagerly waiting for these movies to be released soon.
