Morgan Pressel

Morgan Pressel was born in the year 1988 and she is a professional golfer in America. She now plays with the LPGA Tour. She became the pro when she was 17 and she became the youngest winner of the LPGA major championship and this vaulted her to a career and was the fourth in the world ranking.


She was born in the Tampa Florida from Mike Pressel with Kathy Krickstein Pressel. She went to Banyan Creek Elementary School and to Omni Middle School. She graduated in the year 2006 from Saint Andrew’s School in the Boca Raton which is a private school which was affiliated to Episcopal Church. She stated that being a Jewish player a big role in how she leads her life.  

Because of the death of her mother because of cancer, Pressel went to live with her grandparents on the mother’s side. His grandfather, Dr Krickstein is a retired pathologist and physician, at the same time her coach. Her two young siblings remained with the father. Her uncle is Krickstein who was among the top 10 tennis player.  

Morgan Pressel’s younger sister play collegiate golf at the University of Texas and she was on for the Symetra Tour.  In the year 2013, Pressel wedding took place and her husband is Andy Bush who was a senior vice president for the Octagon Global event.

At the age of 12 when she was only 12 years old, she became a youngest player who had qualified for US women’s Open.  She held the record until the year 2007 when she beat the record by some months.  When she was at the age of 17, she became one of the three co-leaders who started the final round for the 2005, US Women’s Open. Pressel became a tie at Fairway where Birdie Kim holed out away of the bunker before he secured the one –stroke lead. Pressel had to get a birdie so that there can be a tie.

During the offseason, it is hard for the people to catch their breath, between the fundraising, weddings and engagements. Pressel got her first hole in one like a professional golfer in July in the Jamie Farr Owens corning classic for the Highland Meadows Golf Club at Sylvania Ohio.  

Pressel had the contention of her third lpga tour for the second time and she got the victory for the semi-finals while she was only 2 years and she opened up 11 holes to the opponents of Azahara Munoz Pressel. She reached at the 12 holes but the slow play penalty lead to the loss of a hole. She then lost for Munoz who won this tournament.

She was represented by the Wasserman Media Group and she had the endorsement deals with the Callaway Golf, Audermars Piguet, Royal Bank of Canada and Polo Ralph Lauren.
