On August 8 1981, in Panorama City , California, Tyra Wardlow- Doyle and Leondis Good welcomed their daughter Meagan Manique Good into their World. This girl was braced with the Goodness of more than one civilizations hence she grew up to be a fine creation of God. Meagan spent her childhood in Santa Clarita, California along with her three siblings. At a very tender age of four, Good stepped in to acting through a commercial. She got her first Film break in the year 1995 at the age of 13. This was a comedy film named ‘Friday.' Her first critical appreciation for acting came with the 1997 film ‘Eve’s Bayou;' the role was of a troubled teen.

From 1998 to 2000 she was a part of the show, ‘Cousin Skeeter’ broadcasted on Nickelodeon. She then turned to serious, mature cinema from early 2000s. Her roles in the movies ‘Biker Boyz’ and ‘Deliver us from Eva’ in the year 2003 marked her start as an adult actress. In 2004, she did an action flick D.E.B.S. which gave her a Best Actress nomination at the 2005 Black Movie Awards.
She then went on doing side roles and small appearances in various movies such as, 'The Cookout,' 'You got served,' 'Venom,' 'Brick 'etc. Her first major lead role came with the film ‘Waist Deep’ in the year 2006. In the years 2008 and 2009 she appeared in various flicks namely, ‘One missed call (horror),’ ‘The love Guru (romantic Comedy),’ ‘Saw V (Horror)’ and ‘The Unborn.'
The year 2012 gave her one the best movies of her career, 'Think like a Man,' followed by its sequel in the year 2014. After a long break she then returned to television in the 2013 for the series ‘Deception.'
Meagan Good has also acted in many music videos; '50 cent,' 'Will Smith,' 'Memphis Bleek,' and 'Imajin' being some of those artists. She has also voiced a character for the video game ‘Scarface: The World Is Yours.’
Later, Good ventured into production, and started her own production company along with Tamara Bass, Ty Hodges and Marlin Olivera. The name of her production company is Freedom Bridge entertainment.
At present she could be seen in the drama series ‘The Game’ shown on B.E.T. and occasionally performs with her female group ‘The H.E.L.L.O Girls.’
Meagan once had landed into big trouble for wearing a Green Versace, over-revealing dress. She had put on the dress in an award function where she went to present The BET Award for Best Gospel artist. This hurt the Christian sentiments of many and she was criticized for her character and her husband. However, she retaliated to these reactions by posting objection over Instagram and regarding herself as a ‘sexy Christian.’
Meagan Good is a die-hard Christian and ardent follower of the Church Values. She regards Jesus as her best hero. Her husband DeVon Franklin is a Seventh day Adventist preacher and an executive for Columbia Pictures. They got married on June 16, 2012 and currently lives in California.
Meagan Good is hardworking in her attitude towards her career and has taken her net worth to about $8 million.
