Judd Asher Nelson is known for being a talented American actor, screenwriter, and producer of Hollywood, was born on November 28, 1959 in Portland, Maine of USA. He was the son of Merle Nelson and Leonard Nelson. His mother was a court mediator and former member of the Maine state legislature. As far as his father's profession is concerned so, he was a corporate lawyer and the first Jewish president of the Portland Symphony Orchestra. For acquiring fundamental eduation, he attended the St Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire. After that he studied in Waynflete School as well which was located in Portland, Maine.


As a student of philosophy, he has also been studying at Haverford College in Pennsylvania. Event of His friend's audition and meeting with Stella Adler altered the route of his life and drawn him in the field of acting. And in 1984, Judd’s first movie released which is known by the name of "Making the Grade". Although people had watched his acting in "Brat Pack" but "Making the Grade" was liked and appreciated too much. Even today it is often cited as the beginning of Judd’s career. It was the curious acting style of this budding actor because of which he was selected in the popular film "St. Elmo’s Fire" for the role of determined Democrat named Alex Newbary.

Series of his achievements grew even he got the status of a "super star" in film industry by John Hughes’s movie "The Breakfast Club". In 1988, Nelson was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television. He was also awarded Maverick Movie Awards(2013), MTV Movie Awards(2005), Razzie Awards (1987 & 1988).

It is seem that Judd's hobbies and habits played a vital role in his life. He takes keen interest in sports especially in riding, driving with a big V-8 engine, gulf and boxing etc. He is a great fan of Boxer Muhammad Ali and Athlete Jim Thorpe. Display Muhmmad Ali's boxing gloves in the showcase of his home shows his craziness with sports. Nelson is admittedly an impatient person. In the very early time, Judd was in affair with Shannen Doherty but due to Shannen’s quarrel with his two sisters Eve and Julie he couldn't continue his relationship with Shannen as Boyfriend.

Judd Nelson's net worth is at $8 million dollars but this point to be noted that he loves to support charities including Recording Artists and Actors Against Drunk Driving, TLC for the Blind and The Ark Trust to help young and helpless people is passion of him. Judd Nelson has appeared in numerous television movies and films, including Light It Up (1999), Cabin by the Lake (2000) and The Black Hole (2006). He has come in many popular shows as a guest starred, such C.S.I: Crime Scene Investigation and Las Vegas. Lately, Nelson offered his voice to the animated series Ben 10: Omniverse and wants to continue his career appearing in future films, television shows and theater productions.
