Johnny Galecki

Famous actor Johnny Galecki, who is known for his outstanding and funny manner, was born April 30, 1975 in a small town Bree in the east of Belgium, where his father, an American Richard Galecki, served in the air forces and his mother Mary Lou Noon worked as a consultant on loans. Galecki has a younger brother Nick, and a sister Allison.  Three years after the birth of Johnny, his parents moved to Oak Park, Illinois.


From early childhood, he was sociable and cheerful boy, and because of his acting talent when Johnny was 7 years old he started playing in the Chicago's Goodman Theater. Since 12 years, Johnny began to appear in episodic and secondary roles, and in 1989 he made his first major debut on the big screen in the comedy National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, where he played the role of a teenager Rusty Griswold.

Caught the wave of success, in the same year Galecki moved to Los Angeles, where he immediately got a role in the sitcom American Dreamer, for which he was nominated for the Young Artist Award in the category of Best Young Actor Starring in a Television Series.

In 1992, he received one of his most famous roles, David Healy in the series Roseanne. His work on this show has lasted until 1997, and during that time, he was twice nominated and once was the winner of the Young Artist Award.

After the end of the series Roseanne, Galecki continued to act in films. He participated in the Bean (1997), Suicide Kings (1997), I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), The Opposite of Sex (1998), Vanilla Sky (2001) and other movies and TV shows. In 2008, he got a cameo role in the comedy Hancock, where Will Smith played the main role. An interesting fact that during his participation in 2007 in the play The Little Dog Laughed, he had to be completely naked, then in an interview with the press actor recalled that role with a smile.

In 2007, he got an invitation from the CBS to play the role of Sheldon Cooper in the series The Big Bang Theory. However he rejected it, believing that he would be more successful with the role of Leonard Hofstadter, close friend of Sheldon Cooper. The role of Sheldon Cooper went to Jim Parsons. Character Galecki, was an eccentric physicist, Ph.D., who fell in love with his neighbor Penny, played by actress Kaley Cuoco. The series The Big Bang Theory has raised its popularity every year, and every year the fee of Galecki grew, from 350000 dollars per episode in 2013 to 1million in 2014.

Despite the relatively accessible information about the size of fees forJohnny Galecki’s roles, his exact net worth is unknown. According to various sources his net worth ranges from 17 to 35million dollars, as Galecki has begun receiving his paychecks since the age of seven.

Regarding his personal life of Galecki, there is a little bit of information in the press. It is known that he spent two years dating with Kaley Cuoco during the filming of the series The Big Bang Theory, but in December 2009, they separated. However, after a few years, he found a new bellowed the actress Kelli Garner, with whom he began a serious relationship. Today, information about the wedding of Galecki has not been mentioned in the press, suggesting that he still is not married and has no children.
