Joseph Franklin Bragg, commonly known as Joey Bragg, is an American-born comedian and actor. Joey is well-known by the public for roles in films such as The Outfield and the Disney channel sitcom Liv and Maddie. With his impressive expertise and the many roles, Joey has landed in the span of his acting and comedy career, he has been able to accumulate a net worth of close to $1million.


Biography

Joey, 21 years of age, was born on 20th July 1996 in California, USA. He lives in San Francisco with his parents and cousins. Joey is an American national and of white ethnicity. Growing up, he spent most of his early years in Union City. Though there’s little information with respect to his parents, early childhood and education, Joey’s life is mainly characterized by his love for acting and comedy. Dove Cameron, his co-actor, is his on-screen sibling in Liv and Maddie. The two hold a good relationship of brother and sister, even off the screen.

As a young but rising star, Joey was caught up in rumors of him being gay. In December 2012, Joey took up to twitter to address the issue, and he wrote on his handle (@JoeyBragg) a statement disputing the gay allegations. These remarks triggered reactions from his followers. However, Bragg made it clear that he has nothing against gays. In 2013, Joey began dating his co-actor, Audrey Whitby. The two are rumored to have met on set of the Disney channel while working together 0n the film Liv and Maddie.

The young lad, who has a great personality, is clearly in love with his girlfriend, Audrey, because, on many occasions, he has flaunted her with numerous posts of her on his Instagram account.  Joey’s Instagram handle is @Joeybragg where he has a close to 2 million followers. The young couple who have been together for close to 3 years are still dating and have been seen publicly a number of times in social events including award ceremonies.

Career

The young man rose to fame in his locality as he came up winning comedy competitions. His debut was in OD, a short motion picture where he played the role Peculiar boy.  Joey also took part in Fred 3 as Peter Magoo, and he received public praise for his acting capabilities in the movie. His terrific acting skills impressed his audience all around the world. This resulted in him being handed the role of Austin York in the Outfield, a high school baseball film in 2015.

Joey, from 2013 to 2017 got a chance to express his acting prowess in the Disney channel sitcom Liv and Maddie. With his steady growth in the acting industry, Joey’s voice has been used in the film Scratch and Ship for the character Nick Pinpowzky. Among others, Joey has taken part in Imprint & Russell’s Wild Ride, Criminal Minds. In 2017, he has been involved in Wet Hot American Summer which was aired on Netflix and Reach which is yet to released.
