Personal life

Jake Tapper was born in the year 1969 in New York City. He was brought up in Philadelphia at Queens. He was the only son of Helen Anne Tapper and Theodore S. Tapper had a Canadian family background. His mother was a nurse at the psychiatric institute and his father was a President in the Jefferson Medical College, as a professor of Pediatrics. The financial condition of the family was very good and he did not face any kind of struggle in their path.

He used to attend the Akiba Hebrew Academy, which was located at Pennsylvania. He later graduated from the Dartmouth College to earn a bachelors degree in History. He also attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts to establish in his career. Later in the year 2006, he married Jennifer Marie Brown. Presently, he lives in Washington D.C. with his wife and two children.

Career

Tapper started his career as a Secretary in the Congressial Press in the year 1992. Later, he was promoted to the position of PR. Along with this, he also did a part time job in the Handgun Control in the year 1997. He was a very talented journalist and also had skills in the field of creative writing. He worked as a freelance writer where he wrote a number of articles which were usually based on recent affairs.

He officially began his career as a journalist in the year 1998. He joined the Washington City Paper as a Senior Writer. He worked with the magazine for two years.
