Jake Tapper was born in the year 1969 in New York City. He was brought up in Philadelphia at Queens. He was the only son of Helen Anne Tapper and Theodore S. Tapper had a Canadian family background. His mother was a nurse at the psychiatric institute and his father was a President in the Jefferson Medical College, as a professor of Pediatrics. The financial condition of the family was very good and he did not face any kind of struggle in their path.
He used to attend the Akiba Hebrew Academy, which was located at Pennsylvania. He later graduated from the Dartmouth College to earn a bachelors degree in History. He also attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts to establish in his career. Later in the year 2006, he married Jennifer Marie Brown.
