Dan Levy is a famous Canadian television personality, writer and producer.


Personal life

Dan Levy was born in the year 1983 on August 9th. He was born in Toronto, Ontario to his Canadian parents Eugene Levy and Deborah Divine. He had a younger sister whose name was Sarah Levy. His father was a businessman and his mother assisted his father in the business. Levy belonged to a high class family status. He and his sister were schooled in one of the popular schools in Toronto. He was always interested in cultural events and took part in the school dramas.

When he graduated from his high school, he took an admission in the University and pursued his further education with media and film studies. He was also a very good writer and prepared an assignment in his final year which was appreciated by everyone. Till now, no information has been recorded regarding Levy getting married or about his wife. Levy is now focusing on his career and is probably not thinking about his personal life.

Career

Levy started his career with the MTV Canada. He was appointed as a host in the channel. He co-hosted the television show with Jessi Cruicshank, ‘the after show’. He also hosted other television shows like The Hills, The City and many others. He has also worked in the MTV Live Series which was organised by MTV Canada. He hosted so many shows in the consecutive years that he received many promotions. Levy launched his own television show on the eve of the Christmas which was known as Daniel Levy’s Holi-Do’s & Don'ts. This television show was also listed among the MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet. 

He also hosted Vancouver Olympic Games on the CTV channel. He made a guest appearance in the year 2008 on the show Canada's Next Top Model. From the year 2011, he appeared on the television as an actor. His first appearance on the television was in a television series of Canada, Degrassi : The Next Generation. Though he appeared on only four episodes, his acting skills were worth appreciating. This series was premiered as a movie and was named as Degrassi Goes Hollywood. He then concentrated on film producing business.

He first produced the Degrassi arc and chose Paige Michalchuk. In the year 2012, he produced Offline and Admission where he casted two most popular actors. In the recent year 2013, he launched his own production house named as Not a Real Company Productions. He started this as a partnership business with his father and two of his friends.

The first film he launched was in cooperation with CBC which was aired in Schitt’s Creek. His production house has taken up some innovative film strategies which had made it stand apart. He has also portrayed regarding the pansexuality factor of America. He has also won several screen awards on the Canadian film festivals. He has a high net worth of $10 million dollars and also has many followers on his Instagram and Tumblr accounts.
