Amanda Drury

Amanda Drury is an Australian journalist as well as a TV host currently based in the United States. She was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. To everyone’s surprise, she has never officially disclosed her real date of birth so it remains a secret with her and one can only guess it from her graduation year 1990. She joined the Australian film, television and Radio school for becoming a reporter. “Mandy Drury” is another name she goes by, Amanda is happily married to Tim Drury.

The couple has been blessed with two children, both boys. She is a good wife and a very proud mother. Her husband Tim is very supportive of her work and helps her in every personal and professional decision she makes. Both of them are really committed to the idea of a perfect family and with their hard work have made good social as well as economical worth and live a very prosperous and harmonious life. So the chances of them ever being in a divorce are very slim. The gorgeous lady is as secretive about her net worth as she is about her age, hence her net worth has never been announced to any sources.

As dazzling and elegant as she is, she has always managed to keep her professional and private life clean, it is astonishing that how little is known about her personal life. She started her career in International relations in Japan before moving Bloomberg TV in Japan gave her opportunity to report on-air. The major break came in 2001 when she joined CNBC based at the Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore as an anchor for “market watch”. She spent 8 years in Singapore where she also did some tremendous charity work such as volunteering at SAVH, The Singapore Association of Visually handicapped before being appointed to the Sydney office. Finally in 2010 she joined the channel’s global head quarters at New Jersey, USA. She claims she would “do anything” for a good cause, and also backs it up with a number of charities around the world.

She has covered major disasters like the Tsunami as well as the 9/11 attacks which left the US shattered to its core, the Gulf war, and Asian as well as Global financial crisis. According to her the most challenging on job situations were 9/11 and the Tsunami. As a reward for her hard work she was considered as a finalist for the Asian Television Awards for the Best News presenter Category for two consecutive years in 2007 and 2008.

Though, like everyone else Drury must have been through the roller coaster ride in her life but with her charming personality as well as hard work she has succeeded in making herself a know face in the TV world.
