Warwick Davis

Warwick Davis is very talented personality. He is very skilled in writing and acting and has established himself as a director and as well as a producer.


Warwick Davis was born in the year 1970 on February 3rd. He spent his childhood years in England. He was the elder child of his parents and also had a younger sister. His mother Susan J. was a home maker and his father was an insurance worker. He belonged from a middle-class family and had to face a lot of financial difficulties in various stages of his life. He visited the Chinthurst School as a primary school student. The school was near to their house so his mother found it really convenient to manage.

Later, he attended the City of London Freemen’s School as a high school student. His father had received various promotions by this time and had sent him to a very renowned school. At an early age, he was detected with dwarfism. The disease was known as Spondylopiphyseal dysplasia congenita. It is a rare form of dwarfism and required a lot of care. He spent a lot of time with his grandmother and at the young age of eleven only, he made his first debut in the film industry. In the Return of the Jedi, he was chosen for a role where the people under 4 feet were required. It was the most spectacular moment of his life as he was a fan of the Star Wars. He was very close to the director Mark Hamill.

After his debut, he used to work with the Ewok as an extra crew member. He was made permanent in the crew by replacing Kenny Baker who fell ill and could not take part. He took part in the Return of the Ewok which was directed by David Tomblin. Though it was filmed successfully but it was not released. After this, he also worked in the films Ewoks : The Battle for Endor. He became a favourite to the directors soon and the film Willow was written especially keeping him in mind. He signed a number of popular films after that like The Chronicles of Narnia, the Silver chair, the Voyage of the Dawn Treader and many more.

He even got the chance in the movie Harry Potter. He was chosen for the role of Professor Filius Flitwick. In the first two series of the film, he played the same role and in the third series of the film, he played the role of the chorus conductor with black hair.

Coming to his personal life, it is very smooth and hardly has any tragedies. He suffers from a serious dwarfism which possesses a lot of health problems. His wife Samantha also suffers from the dwarfism and their children are also the victim of dwarfism. Two of their sons passed away just after their birth! The couple have a daughter named as Annabelle! David these days is very busying hosting the CBBC show, which has earned him a lot of fans.
