Vickie Winan’s career began after her marriage to Marvin. She joined the Light records and released an album titled ‘Be Encouraged’. The album became a huge hit as per the gospel genre which led to an increase in Vickie’s fan following. She then released another album ‘Total Victory’ in no time which was as successful as the first one. Vickie Winans joined the MCA Records in 1990. She released an album named ‘The Lady’ in 1991 which got nominated for the Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album in the Grammy Awards.
Vickie Winans joined the Intersound Records and released a song named ‘Vickie Winans’ which booked its place in the top 10 songs on the Gospel Charts. She went on to release numerous hit albums like ‘Share the Laughter’, ‘Live in Detroit’ and ‘Live in Detroit II’.
