Biography and Early Life
Tatiana was born to Dan and Renate in the city of Regina, Saskatchewan on 22nd September 1985. Her father Dan was a woodworker while her mother Renate worked as a translator. She has a varied ancestry which includes Austrian, Polish, Ukrainian, German and Romanian. She received her initial education at French Immersion where she learned English, before that her mother taught her German. She was very much inclined towards dancing and started it at an age of 4 years only. She started giving performances in community musicals and theater since she was 9 years old.
Tatiana got her further education from Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School. In her high school, she started participating in the productions and improvisations of school. She graduated in the year 2003. Still, in college, she started getting acting jobs, by approval from her parents she traveled all over the Canada for her acting jobs. After completing her graduation she performed theatrical performances for some time before getting settled in the city of Toronto, Ontario when she was only 20 years old.
Acting career
Tatiana has done a large number of movies and television shows. She is also a certified trainer for improvisation. In 2002 she acted in the TV series of Canada called “2030 CE”. In the movie named “The Messengers”, she enacted the character of Lindsay Rollins. She played the role of a victim of kidnapping named Penny in the series “Flashpoint”released during September of 2008.
She played the role of Ruby in the movie“Grown up Movie Star” for which she received Special jury award at Film Festival of Sundance, 2010. She got Award Phillip Borsosin the Whistler Film festival of 2012 for her role in movie “Picture Day”. She has received many awards which include 2013 ACTRA award for “Picture Day”, 2013 Award Phillip Borsos.
Out of the roles played by Tatiana, most popular is her lead role in sci-fi series called “Orphan Black”. She has won the award of Primetime Emmy in 2016, TCA Award in 2013, 3 Screen Awards of Canada from year 2014 to 2016 and 2 Television Awards of Critics’ Choice in 2013 and 2014. She has also won the award of Golden Globe and nomination for Screen Actors Guild. She has also appeared in Interview Live with Kelly and Michael.

Tatiana is not married yet; however, she is in a relationship with Tom Cullen, British Actor. The couple met for the first time during the shooting of miniseries of Channel 4 named “World without End “in Budapest. They came close to each other and started dating. Tatiana along with her partnerTom Cullen lives in the city of Toronto, Ontario.
