Sofia Vergara was born in the year 1972 on July 10. She was born to her Roman Catholic parents Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo and Margarita Vergara de Vergara. Her father worked as a cattle rancher in the meat shop and her mother was a homemaker. She grew up with her five siblings and the bond between them was also very strong. She belonged from a very middle class family and her family did not have enough money to provide good educational facilities along with a better livelihood.
She was very brilliant and has received several scholarships from the school. Her parents did not have to spend anything on her studies as she was a very good student. Though she had much interest in drama and other cultural events, the school did not have enough cocurricular activities. When she graduated from the university, she went to the university in Colombia to pursue dentistry.
