Sherry Stringfield was born in the year 1967 and she is actress of American origins. She is known to play as Dr Susan Lewis at the NBC medical drama called ER. For this role, she got three nominations for Emmy Awards. She was a member of original cast of ER but did not continue after third season even if the contract tied her for five seasons. From her biography, Sherry Stringfield is an eldest child in family of three children. She was born in Colorado Springs in Colorado. Her family relocated and went to live in Albuquerque of New Mexico, and afterwards, they settled in Spring of Texas in the Houston Suburb and this is where she grew up. She developed interest in acting when she was attending Klein High School and she was starring in many plays and musicals which include Fiddler on The Roof, Mother Courage and Oklahoma.
When she turned 18 years old, she attended Acting Conservatory found at Suny at Purchase where she was a roommate of Parker Posey who is her fellow actress.
