Sherri Saum is a popular American television actress known for her character Lena Adam Foster in the TV drama The Fosters. Apart from being an actor, she is also a model and producer.

Personal Life
Sherri Saum was born to a father of African-American descent and a mother of German ethnicity on October 1974 in the city of Dayton, Ohio. Saum’s attended school in Elementary School, Kettering, Ohio.
In her high school, Kettering Fairmont High School she was an active student, she did cheerleading and was a part of the school drama club. Saum started off as a model before walking into the television industry, while studying in her high school, she attended a convention titled Model Search America and that was the beginning of her professional modeling career.
While still in high school she could only model when the summer breaks were going on; eventually, she shifted to the city that never sleeps, New York to pursue modeling as a full-time job. Images Management became Sherri’s first agency in New York. Saum is an alumna of the Ohio State University, Columbus and New York University in New York.
Her modeling career took no breaks in college and to get some extra cash she did waitressing too. In college, she perused psychology and later had plans to take up criminal justice in John Jay College but her busy schedule held her back from that decision. For a brief period of six months, the actress tried her hand at learning Spanish while at Madrid in Spain. In 2007, Saum’s former co-actor and longtime boyfriend Kamar de Los Reyes and Saum tied the knot. The couple had twin boys on May 2014 and they were named John Ruben and Michael Luis.
Career
Saum’s journey on the television began with Sunset Beach, a daytime soap opera that showed on NBC, her character was Vanessa Hart, the show ran successfully from 1997 to 1999.She pocketed a nomination for her role as Vanessa Hart in the category of Outstanding Young Actress in a Drama Series during the 1999 Emmy Awards. Her next series was a comedy series Beggars and Choosers which began telecasting in 1999, she went on to make a guest appearance on Charmed and Girlfriends. In 2001, the actress once again acted in a daytime soap for ABC, One Life to Live, this time as Keri Reynolds.
Anne B. Real that released in 2003 was Sherri’s first movie, in the same year she had another release Finding a Home. Since then, she appeared on both television and the big screen. Some of her roles in movies include Georgina in Love and Suicide (2005), Nicole Tate in Relative Stranger (2009), Susan in Ten Stories Tall, Jane Pope in the 2018 Squad Goals and a few others. From 2005 to 2016, the actress had been cast in a number of TV series, some of her notable roles were in The Fosters, Law, and Order, How to Get Away with Murder, Code Black and The Mysteries of Laura.
