According to her biography, Kimberly Perry took birth in the city of Jackson, situated in the state of Mississippi, on 12th July 1983, which makes her an American national, by birth. Her parents, Marie and Charles Stephen Perry, were both members of a band and had a passionate inclination towards music, which was transferred into Kimberly from a very early age.
She looked up to her parents and made music her life as she listened to vintage records of country artists when she was in her school years. Kimberly grew up alongside her 2 older brothers, Neil Perry and Reid Perry, in her home in Mississippi. After signing their first contact with Republic Nashville, the band released its debut album named “The Band Perry”, in the year 2010. It sold hundreds of copies and the genre of country rock music became famous in the world of music as their songs topped the Billboard charts.
Their second album named “Pioneer”, hit the markets in the year 2013 and it was again one of the most talked about and most listened to albums of the year. They have won the Grammy Awards in the years of 2010 and 2013 for their astounding work in the field of country music, in the categories of “Top New Artist” and “Top Vocal Group” respectively.
The group even performed in the “Super Bowl XLVII” in the year 2014, which was a prestigious platform for them.
