Background
Though she was born in India, she was Sheen was primarily raised in the coast of Florida. After her parents immigrated to the US, Sheena grew up in the American at a young age. As a child, she was always fascinated by the weather, the forming of clouds, and the different patterns of clouds in the sky. Thunderstorms would scare most kids but the amazing phenomenon drew Sheena to the field of meteorology. All the things about the weather pushed on a path of meteorology.
In an interview with Philly Mag, Sheena explained her love for the weather, “I used to watch thunderstorms all the time, and I always loved watching lightning, so I knew I wanted to do something with weather. It really wasn’t until I got to college that I realized I could pursue this. And at Florida State, when you go through the meteorology department, you have the chance to do on-camera stuff—and that’s when I started to realize that I could do this”
She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology from Florida University. She wanted to be prepared with information before she went into the professional world of weather reporting.
Meteorology Career
She started her career as a reporter, journalist and a weather forecaster in WCTC, Tallahassee, Florida.
Her charming and drop dead gorgeous looks have made her very popular on her social media profiles. She has a large fan following on her accounts. She is considered as a very down to earth, pleasant, and humorous person with a fun attitude. She is more focused on her work rather than the famous status she is getting from her family. She is very good at her work and has won many accolades for her dedication towards her work. She gives her best as a weather forecast reporter and her producers never fail to praise her. She is a certified broadcast meteorologist that is very proud of her work.
After many years at NBC 10 in Philadelphia, Main Line Today asked her to describe her experience living in the city, “When I first came to the area, I lived on the Main Line, very close to the station. So I would always be somewhere on the Main Line—like shopping on Suburban Square. Recently, I went to the Saint James in Ardmore, and I loved it there. I also really like Mikado for sushi. Since I love sushi, I always go to Raw. La Colombe is the only coffee I can drink black, because it’s so good. We’d love for Todd Carmichael to open a La Colombe right by our station. He’d get plenty of business. Parc is my favorite spot for brunch. There are a lot of places I want to try, but I haven’t had the chance yet. I recently started taking golf lessons at Plymouth Country Club, and I’m really enjoying them. It’s almost addicting. I needed a change of pace, and that’s one of the reasons I wanted to come here. Florida is very laid-back, and things move slower there. There’s a vibe with Philadelphia that I really like a lot. As far as forecasting goes, it’s definitely not boring. The trickiest part is the snow forecasting. We haven’t had to deal with one large snowstorm since I’ve been here. The first winter I was here, it was so mild we didn’t have snow.

Personal Life
Being in the glitz and glamour of the media world has exposed her to various rumors and speculations. She was rumored to be dating the captain of the NHL Philadelphia Flyers, Scott Hartnel. Sheena was rumored to be linked with the hockey player because she was working in Philadelphia at the tame.
These were also rumors that she dated Jamison Uhler, who happened to be her co-host and co-worker at NBC 10. The rumor made headlines because Jamison was already in a relationship. His involvement with Sheena became news because of Sheena’s fame. They started dating when Sheena was working in Tampa. When she moved to NBC 10, it was reported that Jamison would visit her often at the station.
Sheena was rumored to finally get married to a man named Charlie but it quickly led to a divorce. Sheena likes to keep her life very private so the details of her relationships have been really sparse.
She is a huge fans of dogs and she has two dogs whom she enjoys to spend quality time with. She was not shy about telling Philly Mag how she likes to spend her off time, “I love to cook and can basically make anything. I never measure anything—I just have a knack for flavoring dishes. I can pretty much make something out of nothing, but my go-to dish has to be spaghetti with meat sauce. Or chili. I’m a pretty sarcastic and down-to-earth person. I have two dogs—Max and Bella. I love trying new foods and doing anything outdoors. My favorite TV show is Curb Your Enthusiasm—the theme is the ringtone on my phone.”
Awards and Recognition
According to the poll taken by a magazine for sexy singles, Sheena was nominated and regarded as a sex symbol. With extremely good looks and an hour glass figure, she would give any model a run for her money. She is regarded as one of the most famous and popular weather reporters. She won the title of Best TV Weather Reporter in 2013.
She talked to Philly Mag about her unique name and fan following, “You know, I always look for those little key chains with your name on them and can never find one. When I was little, I used to check every time I went to Busch Gardens, but nothing. I don’t think they’ll ever make a “Sheena. It’s funny, but people don’t really recognize me. First of all, they’d have to watch NBC. Then they’d have to see me out or something, and I think they might be taken aback by my height—I’m five-foot-two. When people meet me in person, they always go, “Oh, you’re so small.”
