Scott Richard Grimes was born on the 9th of July, 1971 in Lowell, Massachusetts, United States of America. His parents, Pam and Rick, were happy to welcome their son. As to the siblings, Scott has a sister, Heather Grimes. While being a child, he grew up and studied at Dracut Public Schools situated in Massachusetts.

During the formative years, Richard had a dream to become a great actor in the future. Therefore, he started practicing the art of acting since he was twelve. His career as an actor began only when he was thirteen years old. It was a role in the TV film“It Came Upon the Midnight Clear”. A year after, he was seen in a scene“Little Boy Lost” of the Twilight Zone. Besides acting, Scott was interested in music, so he was developing his singing skills as well.
In 1986, he made his debut as a singer, while taking part on a Bob Hope TV extra with a song called “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”. Soon after, Grimes participated as a guest musician on the Time album by Richard Carpenter of The Carpenters. For his performance there, he got many approvals and was named the future of American music. In 1987, he put his voice on Pinocchio in the animated movie “Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night”.
The next year, he acted with many stars like Hickman, Connie Stevens, and Tricia Leigh Fisher in the film“Bring Me the Head of Dobie Gillis”.He also was seen on the All-Star Super Password Special with Bert Convy. Moreover,he was a guest star on the NBC sitcom “Wings”. He also played a roleof Chad McCann on “Who's the Boss”.
In 1989, Scott’s first music album was released by A&M Records and produced by Carpenter. From 1994 to 2000, he was acting at the series “Party of Five as Will McCorkle”. From 2003 to 2009, he was showed asDr. Archie Morrison the NBC regular show “ER”. In the year of 2005, there was a release of his next album called “Livin' on the Run”, and five years later his third one, “Drive”. Grimestook part in such movies as “Who's Your Monkey”, “Family Guy”, “NCIS: Los Angeles”, “NCIS: Red” and others. Scott is a very enthusiastic and hardworking person. As to the personal life in his biography, he has been married once. After a long-term relationship, Scott and Dawn Bailey-Grimes got married.
