Russell “Block” Spenser was born on April 12, 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia to African mother and American father. He grew up traveling between Atlanta and Los Angeles. He attended a local school in Atlanta and after graduating from school he decided to end his education on that level. Russell was interested in hip-hop music from his early childhood and began making his own tapes inspired by old rap masters. Russell Spenser started the recording business in middle of 90s, when he was the president for Suave House Records and the record label for Houston. In 1999, he had own third part of the ShoNuff records. He was involved to big work with artist of the R&B Ciara for the first record deal. During the work on ShoNuff records he discovered such talents as Jody Breeze. Russell Block Spenser and Andrew Gotti Couser created the record label “Block Ent.” or the “Block Entertainment”. They launched their own label in the 2000. Block Entertainment discovered, and subsequently represented, such singers and musician as Yung Joc and “Boys in Da Hood”. His company also launched the career for the singers like Jody Breeze and Young Jeezy. In the 2009 Russell’s label had signed the joint venture for the “Bad Boy” Records of Diddy’s.

Continuing his music industry career, Block began a successful partnership with music mogul, Sean "Diddy" Combs in the middle of 2000s. Russell has a deal with big Companies like “Warner Music Group” and “The Urban Wrestling Federation”. He also worked by World-Wide Block Entertainment along with Kno Tyme rap star from November of 2010 till now.
Russell Block brought a huge level of fame for many rap stars and now them in the limelight. Block also said "that the transition of the industry from purchasing CD’s to streaming music had significantly affected the music artists". Russell Block said about music hip-hop industry “that he does not retire but he tries to reinvent himself”. He also said “that people should expect to see a new mix-tape that it is going to come before a compilation and the mix-tape would be titled “Where’s Waldo”. Russel Block is also working on a talent search program for studio work with future hip-hop stars. In addition he was involved in movies and TV shows works, he has worked in a limited number of on-screen projects such as “Frienemies” and “The Player's Club”.
Russell Block is married since the 2011 and has four kids with his wife. He also was with love affairs to Kandi Burruss, they have a child together, a daughter who was born in the 2002. They were dating but their relationship came to the end before she became pregnant. She was raising her daughter Riley alone, before she married to former line producer Todd Tucker in the 2015. She wanted Block to pay back the loan but she never asked about the child support. Russell Block has a net worth of $10 million dollars.
