Rene Marsh was born in the year 1978 on 17th April. She was born in the United States in Binghamton. Though her parents were African, she holds an American nationality. She is considered to belong from both African as well as American ethnicity. She spent her childhood years with her siblings and cousins. Her mother worked as a counsellor and her father was a teacher.

As both her parents remained busy most of the time, she spent her time with her cousins and siblings. Her uncle and aunt took care of her and her siblings. Marsh was sent to a very reputed school where all the co-curricular activities were available. She did not have to face any financial trouble during her growing up period. Marsh was very interested in cultural activities as well as sports. The girl showed a lot of interest in football.
