Sarah Nicole Zaloumis is a popular and
well-known American sports anchor who was born on January 17, 1980 at Alameda,
California, USA. She is of Greek descent. Nicole grew up in Danville,
California. From a very young age, she was interested in sports. She constantly
talked about sports. A teacher in Vista Grande Elementary, where Nicole was a
student, remarked to her mother Sarah, telling her Nicole should be on TV. As
prophesied by the teacher, Nicole has found a very rewarding and satisfying
career as a television journalist. In 2003 she graduated with a sports
broadcasting degree from San Francisco University. From her youth she was
interested in media and her dream of becoming a media personality came true.

Her professional career as sports news anchor started in 2004 with WRC-TV in Washington, where she hosted the weekly sports show on Washington Redskins. For ABC 15, she was the weekend anchor in Phoenix for the three Arizona sports teams, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Diamonds and Phoenix Sunx. She was also the daily sports anchor at Big Ten Network with Comcast Sports Net, New England. She brought her vast experience and sports knowledge, coupled with her pioneering approach, to NFL Network when she joined them in 2012. Previously she hosted the weekday morning show NFL AM for NFL Network. It is said she left NFL AM in June 2014 to spend more time with her family. Very recently, in the August 14, 2014 edition of Fox Sports Live on Fox Sports she appeared as a guest host.

Once there was a rumor that Matt Forte, the American professional football player for the Chicago Bears, was eying her. There was no response from Zaloumis and the rumor just died down.
