Nicholas Kevin Stanley Yunge-Bateman was born on November 18, 1968 in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. He was raised here in Burlington, along with his siblings. When he was just 4 years old, his parents enrolled him in Goju Ryu Karate. He also won several awards in the field. Currently Nick is a four-time world champion martial artist. After high school, he enrolled at the Capilano University in Vancouver, BC. Nick graduated when he was just 20 years old. Afterwards, he started modeling career.

During the years of the modeling career, Nick traveled a lot and lived in New York, Miami and Milan. In addition to his appearances on magazine’s pages he also took a part on several commercials and also was the faces of several popular brands. This experience made him a well-known celebrity throughout and outside North America. Being a successful model, he also decided to try himself as an actor. In the 2011 he co-starred in the movie “Hobo with a Shotgun”, where he played the role of Ivan.
Later he appeared in the TV series “The Listener” as Ian Furmanek. In the 2012 Nick played the role of Maitre’d Vampire in the fantasy television series “My Babysitter's a Vampire”. In the same year he appeared in two others TV series like “Mr. D” and “Space Janitors”. He also played the main character in the adaptation of the popular book “Ugly Love”. In the 2014 he played the role of Matt Cockburn in the movie “Tapped Out”.
In the same year he appeared in the thriller “The Hazing Secret. In the 2016 he appeared in the movie “Hidden in the Woods” which was directed by Patricio Valladares and was released on November 6. Nick appeared in the short film “Ethos”. Another his project was “How To Be Single”, where he was one of the main characters.
Before his successful career as an actor and model he also got a breakthrough time in martial arts. At first Nick became a regional champion in karate in the 1998. The next year he began to compete at the professional world level. In the 2003 he finally got his first world championship. In the same year he even was inducted into the WKU Hall of Fame as competitor of the year.
Being so successful Nick was awarded by two Sport Martial Arts Viewers Choice Awards. He placed second in the ESPN International Best of the Best Martial Arts competition in the 2004. In the 2008 Nick moved home to Burlington and opened his own karate school called Bateman Martial Arts Academy. He also choreographed fight scenes with a team called Sideswipe.
Nick is not married yet. There is no information about his affairs. There were some rumors that famous Maria Corrigan is his girlfriend and they have some relationships, but they both deny it. He is a very active person in the social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and so on. He has a net worth of about $750 thousand dollars.
