Miranda Brooke

Miranda Brooke was born on November 1, 1990 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She has one sister named Lyric. At the young age of four, Miranda began publicly singing. Within a few years she joined both the school and church choir. "When I was in the choir at age 5", she remembers, "one of the older guys-- he was probably 19-- forgot the words to R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly". He's panicking, just standing there. I take the mic from him and start singing all the words, like, Oh my God, this is what I need to be doin'! There isn't a voice for teenage girls right now-- especially with that Southern hospitality feel to their music. I'll fill that void."

Miranda was signed to the famous Bu Vision/Def Jam label by Akon's brother, Abou "Bu" Thiam. Bu was the youngest executive the company had ever seen. He is currently the Vice President of Def Jam Recordings. "I realized that I wanted to be my own boss and have my own company and have my own group", he stated. The first artist he signed was T-Pain, who went on to exponential success. "I look for originality", he explained. "You've got to be creative and you've got to be different. T-Pain didn't look like Chris Brown, but I felt he was different and he had a lot of charisma." "Lady Gaga was a risk, T-Pain was a risk... even Akon was a risk. If you think about the artists with me, they all have their own lane."

With Bu's guidance, Miranda's single "Hater" was released in 2011 and earned more than 1 million views on Youtube. "It's a song about ugly feelings", she admitted. "It's about jealousy, insecurity, and weakness, but it's honest." In the video, Miranda plays an assistant to her photographer boyfriend. She notices a model that her boyfriend is photographing get a little too close, which causes her to feel like a "hater." The song draws in influences such as the late Aaliyah and Xscape, as well as having verses that rap/rhyme in the style of TLC and Missy Elliot. "Calling myself a singer limits me", she stated. "I'm a performer. I can sing, I can dance, and I can rap." Jermaine Dupri, Sean Garret, and Bryan-Michael Cox also helped with her album.

Miranda is married to Adriel Jeremiah "A.J." Green, a professional National Football League player. They were married on March 21, 2015 in the heart of Atlanta with many of her husband's well-known teammates in attendance such as Andy Dalton, Carlos Dunlap, and Mohamed Sanu. The wedding was "winter wonderland" themed and held at the luxurious 200 Peachtree venue. Miranda changed outfits at least four times throughout the night and the couple shared an extravagant six-tier wedding cake. The couple filmed and shared their first dance to John Legend's "So High" on Instagram and Twitter, causing a media storm. It was fitting, as the couple had met on Facebook and messaged for six months before they met and made their relationship official. Miranda states that she most loves her husband's humility. "He never gets too high on himself", she explains. "He shakes every hand. He signs every autograph. He smiles at everyone."

A.J. Green was born to humble parents. His mother, Dora, was a Wal-Mart clerk and his father, Woodrow, was a truck driver and steel worker. When A.J. was four years old, his older brother and only sibling was killed in a car wreck. A.J. learned how to juggle on his school's juggling team in second grade, which helped him train his hand-eye coordination that later proved useful to his football career.

A.J. was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals from the University of Georgia in 2011. During his first season with the Bengals, he made the 2012 Pro Bowl and became the first rookie receiver to make a Pro Bowl appearance since Anquan Boldin nine years before. He has since gone on to appear in 7 total Pro Bowls. From 2011 to 2013, Green caught more passes than any other player in the National Football league history during their first three seasons. On October 7th, 2018, Green caught 6 passes for a total of 112 yards which set a franchise record with his 32nd 100-yard receiving game. He was ranked 22nd by his fellow players on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2018.

Miranda and A.J. gave birth to their first child, Easton Ace Green, on September 21, 2016. He carries the nickname "Eazy." A.J. was very vocal about his desire to be at the hospital for the birth of his son, despite his career obligations. "First one, definitely. I want to be there," he said a few weeks before the birth. Luckily, Easton arrived on a Wednesday which allowed the family to spend several days together before A.J.'s Sunday game.

"Just to see him come out and know that you helped create that was unbelievable. I can't even describe the feeling", A.J. shares. "It was emotional. Very emotional. Just how blessed we are to bring something like that into the world." "[Miranda]'s a trooper", he continued. "Whole new, different respect for women. I was trying to be as nice as I could, man. I got yelled at a couple of times for falling asleep because she couldn't sleep. I just got up and hung in there with her. She's much tougher than I am."

Miranda's Instagram account, @mirandabrooke_, has more than 258,000 followers and her Twitter account, @mirandabrooke_, has more than 9,000 followers. She actively posts pictures of Easton and A.J. along with relevant news pertaining to A.J.'s career. In contrast, A.J.'s Twitter, @ajgreen_18, has 394,000 followers.
